UWB type monitoring sensor
By analyzing the radio waves reflected from the subject, the system detects their location, posture, respiration and intensity of movements.
A proprietary algorithm that uses AI and machine learning analyzes this data, making it possible to detect abnormal conditions such as falls and submersion in a bathtub with high accuracy. In addition, a single sensor can monitor 40m² through walls and doors.
Product Overview
-
01
Highly accurate sensing technology enables real-time detection of a person’s location, posture and intensity of movements, and identifies abnormal conditions such as falls or submersion using a proprietary algorithm and issues an alert.
-
02
A single sensor can detect approx. 40m² through walls and doors, and can collect and analyze data on physical activities, life patterns and gait profiles of a person being monitored in the house.
-
03
Since no cameras are used, it can be used as a monitoring system in the bathroom without invasion of privacy. The system can detect abnormal conditions such as falls and submersion in a bathtub by eliminating the effects of bathtub water surface and shower water running with a proprietary algorithm.

- What is the detection method using UWB radio waves?
UWB (Ultra Wide Band) radio waves are transmitted to the target environment and signals reflected from the subject are received and processed by an algorithm to detect the person’s status (location, posture, intensity of movements, and respiration), enabling various items to be detected.

Use Cases
It can be used in a variety of situations to monitor daily life situations safely and securely.
- Demonstration video of fall and submersion detection in the bathroom
The system detects falls due to such causes as heat shock in the bathroom, drowning in the bathtub, and drowning risk due to drowsiness, and alerts the user in real time to prevent serious accidents.
- Demonstration video of monitoring in a nursing home
A single sensor can monitor the entire living room including the toilet. It is possible to alert emergency situations such as falls as well as to prevent falls from a bed and analyze sleep by detecting the conditions on the bed (posture, motion, respiration rate, etc.).
- Demonstration video of monitoring the elderly living alone
It is possible to identify unexpected accidents early by detecting falls and respiration in the house as well as to monitor the health condition of the subject by analyzing the daily life patterns and gait profiles.
