Development of the "SSR-RF11" Standard Wi-Fi Direct Remote Control for Motion Control / Voice Transmission 

　We are pleased to announce that we have developed the "SSR-RF11", a standard Wi-Fi Direct remote control which has features of motion control / voice transmission.
　In recent years, the addition of IP Note 1) functions, as well as multi-functionality of host units, has advanced especially in the TV/set-top box market. Therefore, market needs have increased for multi-functional remote controls with the user-friendly input devices that can be operated intuitively in UI note2).
　To meet these market needs, we have developed a standard remote control that uses Wi-Fi Direct as a communication method and equipped with motion sensor and voice microphones as input devices. Using this standard remote control will help to reduce development costs and time. Furthermore, combination with our middleware for wireless transmission eases customers' burden of developing host units.
　We intend to release this remote control into the home network as well as the consumer device market.
