Development of the "BT401 Series" of
SPP Profile Bluetooth® Complete Modules

　We are pleased to announce that we have developed and started taking orders for the "BT401 Series" of Bluetooth® Version 3.0 compliant SPP Note1) complete modules.
　We have developed two module types comprised of the "BT401" and "BT401-AP1". The BT401 type supports the SPP profile that uses Bluetooth® Note2) functionality to communicate data to smartphones and tablet PCs. The BT401-AP1 type supports the iAP Note3) protocol, which enables connections between SPP profile and devices (iPhone and iPad Note4) installed with iOS Note5).
　The stand-alone modules are due to acquire Bluetooth® SIG and Japanese and international Radio Law (FCC/IC/CE) accreditation, helping customers to cut development costs and shorten development time.
　We will continue to work in the future towards the development of wireless modules that meet customers' demands.
