Development of a Module Compatible with Bluetooth® Low Energy

We are pleased to announce the development of a communication module compatible with Bluetooth® Low Energy single mode, which enables wireless communication with low power consumption.
Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) technology, which is a feature of Bluetooth® Version 4.0, consumes less power than standard Bluetooth® technology. Demand for the inclusion of wireless communication technology in equipment has risen in a variety of sectors in recent years, and BLE technology which enables wireless communication with lower power consumption is expected to spread in the future.
Based on this newly-developed communication module, we have developed software in line with market needs and we intend to continue with this development in order to bring easy-to-use products to the market.
This module (test model) will be exhibited at the integrated IT and electronics exhibition, "CEATEC JAPAN", which is due to be held from October 4th.
