We inform you of the damage to the SMK Group’s Ibaraki Prefecture office caused by this earthquake, as of the evening of March 15.

There is damage to some production facilities in the said area, but the damage to the building is minor and power is now available partially. We are working towards the recovery of production activities while receiving support materials and other support from our headquarters.

At our headquarters in Tokyo, we have implemented power saving measures such as turning off rooftop neon signs, and limiting the operation of air conditioning systems and elevators.
