Development and Release of the Industry's Smallest Class“PV-04 Series" Photovoltaic Cell Module Connector for Photovoltaic Power Generation Systems

We are pleased to announce the development and release of a new addition to our highly-popular "PV-04 Series", the small-model photovoltaic cell module connector.
This new product is vastly smaller than our standard "PV-01 Series", achieving a reduction of approximately 70% in terms of volume.
As a provider of green energy that places minimal burden on the environment, the photovoltaic power generation system market has enjoyed increased attention and worldwide demand in recent years. Since photovoltaic power generation systems connect multiple photovoltaic cell modules by cable, relay connectors are used to join the cables.
In response to the expansion of this market, we have developed standard model photovoltaic cell module connectors starting with the PV-01, PV-02 and PV-03 Series, and we have now expanded our product repertoire by developing a compact version.
This new product is the industry's smallest class photovoltaic cell module connector. Further, cables can be easily treated for waterproofing simply by inserting them due to the product's unique waterproof structure, contributing to excellent operability and waterproofing performance. Its IP protection class is IP67.
This product has passed the TÜV (DIN-EN) safety standard, so it is suitable for the European and Japanese markets.
It will be exhibited at the photovoltaic power generation expo, the "PV System Expo 2011", to be held from 2nd March, and we intend to proactively develop sales activities for this product in the future.
