Development and launch of the “EN-43 Series” 0.4 mm-pitch shielded FPC connector - the high-speed transmission, low-profile and user-friendly connector
We are pleased to announce the development and launch of the “EN-43 Series” 0.4 mm-pitch shielded FPC connector that supports high speed transmission for mobile devices.
Demand for high-speed transmission signals has increased in recent years in line with the move towards higher quality images and higher performance of mobile phones such as smartphones.
The 0.3 mm-pitch “EN-32 Series”, which possesses high-speed transmission features equivalent to low-profile and compact, super-fine coaxial connectors, was launched to respond to market needs for mobile equipment such as DVC and DSC, and has gained favorable reviews. However, our newly-developed product has a 0.4 mm pitch that can easily absorb FPC pad displacement, a low 0.8 mm profile when mounted (identical to the EN-32 Series), and it supports high-speed transmission similar to the EN-32 Series.
The connector is covered with a metal shield for enhanced shielding performance and connector durability, ensuring high contact reliability. The grounding performance of the FPC and the connector is enhanced and more effective counter-EMI measures can be applied if they are coupled together and used in combination with a shielded FPC.
