Development of a compact-type “photovoltaic cell module connector” for photovoltaic power generation systems

We are pleased to announce the development of a compact-type “photovoltaic cell module connector” aimed at the photovoltaic power generation system market.
As a provider of a clean energy source that places minimal burden on the environment, the photovoltaic power generation system market has enjoyed increased demand in Europe in recent years, and future growth is expected also in the USA. Photovoltaic power generation systems are installed on rooftops by connecting multiple photovoltaic cell modules by cable, and relay connectors are used to connect the cables. 
  This connector is designed to relay cables emerging from photovoltaic cell modules. With increased focus on this market, we developed and released the “photovoltaic cell module connector”, but we have now expanded our product range by developing a compact version.
  This new product attains a compact size calculated at 55% the size of our existing products. Further, cables can be easily treated for waterproofing due to its original waterproof structure, contributing to its excellent workability and waterproofing performance.
Its IP protection class is IP67, ensuing higher safety and waterproof performance.
