A small, AWG 26 wire-compatible 1.2 mm pitch board-to-wire crimp connector with 2.2 mm stacking height developed and marketed

We are pleased to announce the development and sales of a 1.2 mm pitch board-to-wire crimp connector for small, portable devices.

Mainly as the internal power supply for small devices, this product was developed to be compatible with the rated current of 2 A (AWG 28-26) and to meet the demand for a cable connection product providing high design flexibility for the internal wiring of these devices.

The top-entry mating method, where the cable runs vertically at a right angle and the receptacle is inserted into the plug from the upward direction, is adopted for improved workability and a low product profile. In addition, the contact area between the plug and the terminal is structured to hold the plug pin between dimples to maintain stable contact and resist vibrations, pinching, and fretting.

This product is compatible with the wire from AWG 26 to AWG 30 (insulation outer diameter from Φ0.98 to Φ0.5).
