Industry’s shortest 1.4mm when mounted, “6P (poles) SIM card connector (Push-Push type)” developed and marketed

We are pleased to announce the development and commencement of marketing of the industry’ shortest 1.4mm when mounted, “6P (poles) SIM card connector (Push-Push type)”.

SIM card connectors are used on mobile phones of GSM system which is the unified European Standard of digital mobile phones and a further increase in demand is expected. 

In order to correspond to the demand of smaller and thinner mobile phones and notebook PC’s, this new product has achieved the industry’s shortest 1.4mm when mounted by adopting the one-piece molded structure which is filled with our technical know-how and the Push-Push mechanism. 

The shield performance is enhanced and the connector mounting strength has increased by making the shield cover for the card guide a top surface full hold type and grounding the cover at 8 points.  Furthermore, a two-point contact structure with high reliability is adopted for the card detector switch. 

The insertion and withdraw of the card will be a Push (lock)-Push(eject) system that is easily operatable.
