Enhanced high level contact reliability and shock resistance performance,2.0mm high “low-profile design battery connector (snake contact type)” developed

 We are pleased to announce the development of “low-profile battery connector (snake contact type)” and the commencement of the shipment of the samples

In recent years, with small portable equipments such as mobile phones and SmartPhones becoming thinner, the demand for low-profile design battery connectors used as connection between the battery pack and the main body has grown.  For low-profile designs, the mid mount type of leaf types or pogo pin types are mainly used; however, products are required to be lower in profile, better contact reliability and shock resistance (safety provision for momentary current shut-offs).


As the vanguard of our industry, the employment of our exclusive snake-shaped spring structure successfully realized as an on-board type, the industry’s lowest profile of 2.0mm in height.  The contact sections of the battery pact is a double-contact structure, and enhances high level contact reliability and shock resistance performance despite the low profile design.
