Rack & panel connector, "RP-1 series", mountable in the floating system, developed
We are pleased to announce the development and commencement of marketing of a rack & panel connector, the “RP-1 series". Specifics of this connector are given below.
This new product is a rack & panel connector featuring 30 2.0 mm-pitched pins, developed for unit-to-unit connection of diversifying amusement equipment. The employment of our originally devised flange structure has made it possible to mount a plug to a unit in a floating system. The use of a floating system allows deviation of unit locations occurring when they are connected to be absorbed for positive connection (An absorbable maximum deviation extends up to 1.3 mm in 4 directions of backward, forward, left and right).
It has 30 pins, 4 for power and 26 for signals. Sequential contact timing is provided between the power and signal lines for ensured ONs and OFFs on the signal line. The contact length of the socket and plug is 3.8 mm minimum for high contact reliability. This connector will be an optimal choice for connection of amusement equipment and office equipment where high level contact reliability such as resistance to vibration is required.
