Long life rubber single-key switch developed

We are pleased to announce the development and commencement of marketing of a long-life rubber single-key switch (type D).

For electronic components used in automotive equipment, market requirements for improved reliability of equipment for a longer service life and improved edge-pushing performance for stable equipment operation have become more evident.

The development of this rubber single-key switch (type D) is our response to such market requirements.

This new switch brings about a long life of 300,000 operation cycles (300% of our previous equivalent products. The optimized shapes of the moving contacts and the rubber have made such a long life possible, which is of definite help for improved reliability of equipment. Further, better mating performance of the key stem and case enhances edge-pushing performance for ensured operability.
