Industry's shortest, smallest and lightest
ultra small coaxial connector, the TC-7 series
-- 1.0 mm high when joined -- developed
We are pleased to announce that we have developed the TC-7 series ultra small coaxial connector. This connector is designed for SMT applications for internal wiring of mobile communication equipment including mobile phones and notebook PCs. Its specifics are given below.
In the market, there have been deep-rooted needs for thinner and smaller equipment designing possibilities. This new product is an embodiment of the industry's lowest 1.0 mm profile (about 30% reduction from our earlier versions) when the receptacle and the plug are jointed. They are the smallest and lightest in the industry, with the receptacle occupying 3.3mm2 (excluding terminal tips) and weighing 0.004g (about 20% reduction from our earlier versions) while the plug weighs only 0.013g (excluding coaxial cables. About a 20% reduction from our earlier versions).
