"Connector for photovoltaic modules"
for photovoltaic power generation systems
featuring excellent contact and waterproof performance
for high assembling workability
We are pleased to announce the development for marketing commencement in October of a connector for photovoltaic modules for the photovoltaic power generation system market. Its specifics are outlined below.
To counter current hot issues such as global warming and the steep rise of crude oil prices, photovoltaic power generation systems have attracted attention mainly around Europe as a source of clean energy, and demand for them has grown. With photovoltaic power generation systems, solar cell (PV: photovoltaic) modules are connected using cables with line-to-line connectors for better workability.
This connector, intended for connection of photovoltaic modules with cables, has been devloped noting its potentiality in the market where further growth can be expected.
Superior contact performance is available from this connector due to our original multi-point contact structure (patent pending). For greater workability, cables can be easily treated for waterproofing using no tools due to our original waterproof structure (top and bottom cover system)(patent pending).
Its IP protection class is IP67 (IP 2X when non-joined). TÜV recognition has been secured
