Highly reliable with contacts and operable
EF-51 series 0.5 mm spacing FPC connectors marketed
We are pleased to announce marketing of the EF-51 series 0.5 mm spacing FPC connectors for July as planned. Specifics of these connectors are outlined below.
These new products are intended for markets where there are rising needs for multiple pin type FPC connectors for applications in flat panel displays (LCD and PDP panels). The key points for successful multiple-pin type FPC connectors are reliability with contacts and good operability.
「These two points are improved on these EF-51 series of products. Reliability of a high level with contacts is ensured by the employment of our exclusive front flip locking structure (patent pending) despite its multiple-pin design. Furthermore, a small force is sufficient for simple yet positive FPC/FFC connection.
Their repertoire extends from 20 pins up to 80 pins.
