36% shorter in profile than our previous equivalent products
put on the market
We are pleased to announce that we have developed and commenced marketing of a type A vertical USB connector (low profile receptacle), specifics of which are outlined below.
This new product is a vertical type A connector compatible with the USB 2.0 specification (Hi Speed). With terminals and housing structure being our original design, and with only 10.5 mm protruding above the PWB surface when mounted, its profile is 36% shorter than our previously available equivalent products. Capability of a maximum speed of high 480M bps makes this product an ideal choice for connection of projectors and PC peripheral equipment such as scanners. Also, usability in areas of a very limited height, such as front panels, for connection of, for example, a USB flash memory, to car audio equipment, will also be its working place for thinner and smaller equipment design.
